Terlingua is one of the most fascinating and beautifully situated "ghost" towns in Texas. Once a thriving mining community with as many as 2000 inhabitants, it was abandoned shortly after World War ll. Since the mid 70's the town has been partially restored and repopulated. Terlingua is adjacent to Big Bend National Park, and it is a great jumping off point for adventure of all descriptions.
